NHAD Town Hall

The board will be hosting a biennial town hall on September 21, 2024 from 11am to 2pm at the Concord Community Center on 14 Canterbury Rd, Concord NH 03301. Our facilitator is Jacob Leffler. There will be light refreshments, captions, and English/ASL interpreters. People who need tactile/close up interpreters will need to request Part B directly with NDHHS.
We will have an intro with the board and facilitator and opening remarks, then simple floor rules, and open up the floor to the community members to air out their concerns and questions about services and programs like Medicaid, Medicare, NDHHS, Language Bank, NHAD, NH Dept of Health and Human Services, Mental Health Services, communication access, and so on. Not about personal issues, but about programs and services around the state of New Hampshire.
Someone on the board or someone selected by the board will keep track of the concerns and complaints and the board will follow up on these concerns. We will also review the old list from the 2022 town hall so new concerns have the time on the floor. If someone wants to share a concern or issue but doesn’t want to come public, they can share it with Jacob in private before the meeting or during break. No letter or email.
At the end, Jacob will explain the role for NAD and we may have time time to share community events.
I can be reached at VP 207-813-4626 or email contact@nhadinc.org if you have questions about the town hall.
